General Election 2024 Voting Information
Don't Forget to Vote in the November 5th General Election
Important Dates
- The last day to register to vote for the General Election on November 5, 2024 is October 21, 2024.
- All California active registered voters will receive a vote-by-mail ballot for the November 5, 2024, General Election.
- Your county elections office will begin mailing ballots by October 7, 2024.
- Ballot drop-off locations open on October 8, 2024.
- Vote-by-mail ballots can be returned by mail, at a drop-off location, or your county elections office.
- Voting centers open for early in-person voting in all Voter’s Choice Act counties beginning on October 26, 2024.
- Vote-by-mail ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received by November 12, 2024.
LA County Voting Center
LA Valley College and the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD), in collaboration with the Los Angeles County Registrar of Voters, is a 11-day Voting Center location for the 2024 General Election.
The voting center on campus is open to the public from October 24-November 5, 2024.
Early Voting
Dates: Saturday, October 26–Monday, November 4, 2024
Hours: 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
Location: Cafeteria in the Student Union
Election Day
Dates: Tuesday, November 5, 2024
Hours: 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
Location: Cafeteria in the Student Union
Mail-In Ballot Drop Box
Dates: Saturday, October 25 - Tuesday, November 5, 2024
Hours: Open 24/7 until Tuesday, November 5 at 8 p.m.
Location: Parking Lot G
Visitor Parking is available in the Parking Structure (on the 2nd-4th floors) for $2 per car daily permit. Daily Parking permits can be purchased at a parking pay station in the Parking Structure.
